Here I am Send Me
Born in the Netherlands in the 1980s, Tim Quispel’s parents soon discovered that he had a cleft palate. At just nine months old, he underwent surgery and nearly choked during the procedure. To save his life, a surgeon inserted a breathing tube, which ultimately saved him. As a result, Tim grew up with hypernasal speech.
At the age of six, he underwent a second surgery to fully close his cleft palate. This operation was successful, and Tim soon developed clear speech.
During his teenage years, Tim discovered a deep love for music and went on to form a band. As a guitarist in a Christian metal band, he toured several countries, including Austria, Switzerland, and Slovakia. The band also recorded music in Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee.
In late 2017, Tim and his band discovered that they had been scammed by a management company. His dream of being in a band fell apart. That same week, he attended a church service where a prophet from California spoke a prophetic word over his life:
“The setbacks in your life will accelerate your future. You think too small; God thinks in nations.”
Around that same season, Tim found himself on his knees during a worship service. In the presence of the Lord, he whispered, “Here I am, send me. I will go wherever You want me to go.”
From that moment on, God began opening doors. Step by step, the Lord entrusted Tim with the ministry now known as Equipped To Live.
